Granite procured the asset and property management contract for this building in 2012, having previously been owner managed.

Granite identified the building as a telecom hub due to its central location and as a valuable high site within the Somerset West CBD. The building is now leased by six different telecoms providers who besides leasing rooftop area also occupy 39% of the commercial section of the building.

Furthermore, following review of market demand for commercial office premises within the Somerset West area, the 1st floor of the building was sub-divided into ‘mini’ offices and completely refurbished and leased to a Tenant specialising in sub-letting of serviced office space, resulting in 100% occupancy of this floor and 95% total building occupancy.
